Graduation

Well, it's been a whirlwind of activity since the last time I sat down to type anything on here.  Natalie graduated from highschool in a lovely ceremony and banquet.  She looked so lovely in her dress, but I think what made her look so elegent and beautiful was the way she did her hair.  She wanted to have her hair down, but then she went to my long-time hairdresser and voila, an up-do was created!!  Thanks Candace...she looked wonderful! 

Her good friend, Braydon, was her escort.  Natalie and Braydon have been friends since Natalie was in grade three in Lloydminster.  They have remained very good friends and I am so glad she got to spend this special day with someone who is so special to her. 

Natalie is going to work now for a year or so, with the hopes of traveling a little after she saves enough money.  I don't think she is really sure of what she wants to do after that, and that is okay with me!  She is only seventeen years old right now and at seventeen I don't think anyone really knows what life holds for them.  I am so proud of her for making it through some not so easy years of school.  She is a beautiful young lady and I know that she will be great at whatever it is she decides to do.  Most importantly though, I hope she knows that she will always have the support of her family if she ever falters.
